Introduction to Quizzes

Why a written test?: Because code is not muscle memory. If you know a language, you don’t need a keyboard to write it: a sharp stick will do.
Why trick questions?: Because spotting what is wrong is just as important as knowing what is right.
Why so few multiple choice options?: Because the quizzes are a test of your knowledge, not how well you can guess.
Why a closed-book test?: Because sometimes you have to know information; you will not always have time to look it up.
What other resources are available?: For my students, extra practice quizzes can be found on the D2L system.
