On completion of your website your client will immediately try to “ego surf” in attempt to find the site in Google or another search engine. It is almost certain that they will fail, or find that the site is listed far down in the search results. There are four primary causes for this:

1. The site has no online relationships.
2. The site is not yet listed with Google or other search engines.
3. The site has not used correct semantic markup.
4. The pages do not have meta tags.
